Mandarin Elementary Course in Hong Kong is an introductory course designed for non-Chinese speakers who are interested in learning Chinese language, culture, and everything else, in this level, we will start from zero!

  • Objectives

This courses is designed for non Chinese speakers who cannot speak Mandarin or local Chinese and want to learn it as their second language.   • What you need to know about learning Mandarin:

Mandarin is a tonal language, we have 4 tones and 1 neutral tone in Mandarin
Mandarin uses simplified Chinese characters, while Hong Kong & Taiwan people use traditional characters.
Learning PinYin is an efficient way to learn Mandarin.

  • Objectives:

This Mandarin Intermediate Course is designed for students who have completed Mandarin Elementary Course and intend to continue their study in Mandarin. More sentence structures and vocabularies will be introduced in this level, students are required to understand at minimum 200 Chinese words.

  • How long do I need to get to Intermediate level from Beginner Level?
    Our Mandarin elementary course takes about 30 hours to complete, normally speaking, it takes about 2 months for you to get to Intermediate level
  • How long is the intermediate level course for Mandarin?
    Depending on your spend, if you take private lessons and pay more attention and practice more at home, you may learn faster, on average, students take 6 months to 2 years to complete this level.
  • Are we learning Chinese characters in this level?
    Yes, you will be learning up to 500-700 Chinese characters when you complete the course.
  • Can I speak fluently after completing the course?
    You will become more confident when speaking Chinese to your friends, colleagues or anybody else, for daily conversation, you will be able to communicate smoothly.
  • Is there any exam I can take to see my level?
    Yes. An official Chinese language proficiency exam is called HSK can be taken for your Mandarin, after this level, you will be able to take level 4 or 5 in HSK, which has total 6 levels.

Cantonese Beginner Course is designed to familiarize the students with the use of daily expression with basic vocabulary and grammar points. Vocabulary introduced based on everyday conversations and daily usage. Real life settings are introduced such as Greetings, Numbers, Taking Transportation, Weather, Go shopping, Introducing family members and asking directions, etc.

 

Objectives:

Cantonese Beginner Course in Hong Kong is designed for non Cantonese speakers who have nothing in Cantoneseand want to learn it as their second language. Beginner courses included Cantonese phonetics, survival phrases, daily useful expressions.
